Summer is going too fast

Wow, it's been too long since I posted. It's been really busy around here. Lea only had 3 weeks of a summer break so we just tried to cram as much as we could into it. Including going to the No Doubt concert, just Lea and I. So much fun!

She started back to school last week. 6th grade already, I can't believe it.

Nater will start kindergarten today. He is so excited. Brianna, hopefully, will start back to school on the 24th of this month.

Lea is still skating and doing really well. She starts with her own coach this week to get a routine ready for her first competition in September. She is so excited to start competing. I think it will be a lot of fun for her.

Nate is still working a lot and swimming almost every morning. I don't know how he does it! He gets up soooo early!

When I have more than 2 minutes I will have to post a better update. But that's the short version for now!

Nater's a big kid now

Nater graduated pre-school this week. He is so big. It's hard to believe the year is over already. They had a very cute little program, sang some songs and then got their diploma. He's happy to be finished for the summer but he is already missing his teachers. They are great, Bri had the same ones when she was over there and loved it too.

This last weekend we finished planting in our garden too. That's one of the things Bri loves to help with. Lea hates it! Nater of course just loves to play in the dirt!

We also found out this week that Bri hit her lifetime max. on our health insurance. Kind of scary but I think it'll be okay.

Lea just passed another round of ice-skating testing and will start her next classes on June 2nd. She's having a great time at it. She's decided when she gets through the Basic skills levels she wants to go into pairs! It'll be a lot of fun for her. I thought I'd post a video of her doing some.

So I hope it works! She got spooked by the kid in the walker and nearly fell over!

Anyway, nothing major going on around here other than waiting impatiently for summer.

Lea and I are going to the No Doubt concert this Monday I can't wait for that either. Nate got me the tickets for mother's day! What a great husband!

My question for the day

Why do kids wait until Friday to get sick?

So here goes.....

Nater is almost finished preschool. He has a graduation next Tuesday. I can't believe the year is over already. Bri will finish up with her home hospital school around June 2nd and Lea will get out for summer on July 2nd.

Bri is continuing to get better and better every day. I really never thought that she would get back to where she was 2 years ago. But she slowly seems to be getting there.

Lea is doing really well at her ice skating. Her coach told us at her last lesson that she can move on to the next level. She just passed this one in 3 lessons. It's so crazy! But she loves it, so it's great to see her doing so well.

She's been playing the viola too and is really enjoying that. She has lessons in school and once a week with her Grandma. Bri's learning the violin and loving every minute of it.

Nate had his eye surgery this week. It did go well. So we are now in the hurry up and wait game to see if it made a difference.

I can't wait for summer and the kids to be out of school so we can start having some real fun.

Our garden is planted and I'm anxiously watching it grow. I can't wait for tomatoes and salsa!

Anyway we're always keeping busy and now that Lea has skating 4 nights a week it really busy but it's great to go and watch her. Nater and Bri love it because they get to race around all over the oval while Lea has her lesson!
